Oi! 8 things about me? Grrrr Tim…gonna get you for this!

Fact 1. I hate snow. Yea, I’m Canadian and we get it here by the ton and its pretty and the kids love it but I still hate it! As far as I’m concerned, it can snow Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, rest of the year I don’t wanna see it!

Fact 2. I’m a gadget nut. You know those really cool looking gadgets they sell on late night TV infomercials, (Operators are standing by to take your order. This offer will not be repeated, I repeat, this offer will not be repeated) the ones that really dont work but you think they will and order it anyway? Thats me.. got a kitchen full of useless cool looking gadgets.

Fact 3. I’m a cat person, I’ve never had any other pets other than a cat. My mother had a dog once when I was a kid, one of those small snotty fluffy things that barks at its own shadow. I have nothing against dogs or small dogs, but that one was particularly annoying, even my dad was tempted to drop kick it once in a while. A cats view on dogs: God’s only mistake.

Fact 4. I love ballet. My mother took me to go see Swan Lake when I was (I think) 6. I was hooked. All I wanted to be was a ballerina, I had the body for it (still do actually) long legged and skinny, but mum said we couldn’t afford the dance class..I’ll never forgive her for that.

Fact 5. I love music, any kind of music I don’t care what it is, if it has a beat I’ll listen to it. Often I will head to a club in SL, sit back close my eyes and just absorb. Or I’ll be on the web doing things like my blog, or paying bills or my bookkeeping for the company, tabbing in and out of SL just to keep up with the chatter.. just listening.

Fact 6. I cannot remember things like peoples names or names for things that should be important. When I picked up my A+ Certification at College I said I was there to learn the names of the whatchamacallits and the thingamajigs, well I passed all my tests with excellent results, but they are still the whatchamacallits and the thingamajigs to me.

Fact 7. I cannot grow indoor plants. I walk into the house and my thumb turns from green to black. If the plant is outside it will be one of those prize winning things you would see at a fall fair. Take it in the house and that poor thing is doomed. My hubby tells people I’m the only person he knows that can also kill an artificial plant.

Fact 8. I’m a klutz. I was one of those gangly teens that is all arms and legs and still seem to be. I drop things, trip over things, fall off and down things. The only good thing about it is the coffee shop where I work is rather cramped quarters… my co workers give me ALL kinds of space, prolly out of self preservation.

Well, there you have it..8 useless things about me.. now to find 8 people to saddle this on. *looks around*
